Urgh feet. If I'm like sharing a bed with a friend i HATE their feet touching me

I also always keep my toe nails really short and scrub them extra hard in the shower. I always wear socks because I can't stand the site of my feet let alone anyone else's.

Yayness

So my brother got out of jail today yayness.
I never realised how much i will miss my big brother when he moves out.
He got back today so it was a big family day. I was meant to just take the morning off from school but the morning turned to midday witch turned to afternoon witch turned to now.
James came around today as well it was cool to see him again. He needed to get his shit he left at our house anyway.
When I said goodbye to him he hugged me really hard. I was like*melt* but just said  "Huh? Um ok." and then he said it would probably be the last he saw me for a while coz my parents and his parents had agreed that my bro and him can't see each other till end of this school year. It's because every time those two get together something goes wrong and they end up in jail or something to that effect.
He also can't hang out with Frankie witch sucks coz those guys are his best friends.

Any way I don't know what else to say.
So laterzz people

Home sick.

So...
Where do I start?
So I've just spent the last couple of hours talking to my friend Billy back home in New Zealand.
I miss my people so much!

I miss the mountains on one side and the sea on the other.
I miss the smell of the pohutakawa trees in the morning.
I miss the wide open spaces and the feeling of freedom.
I miss the fact that i just had to walk down the road to the forest and I could feel like the only person on the earth.
I miss going to the Marae and hearing the grandfathers stories.

Here in the Netherlands everything feels so sterile and man made and deliberate. There's no unbridled wildness of the New Zealand bush. There's no Tuis and Bellbird calls to wake up to in the morning.

I don't like this synthetic beauty.
Lawns perfectly manicured. If you have a lawn at all due to the pathetic size of the gardens here.
Also having houses so close together that the neighbours seem to be breathing down your neck, is not really my cup of tea.

I feel like Lions in the zoo must. Built to run free and wild. But instead stuck in a packed train like a can of sardines.
That's another thing. In New Zealand trains were a sign of freedom. They meant you were going somewhere, off on an adventure.
Here, now, they signal the beginning to another day of being forced to conform. School.
It's like that Fanta add where the bright individuals are being changed into gray identical squadges.

Damn it. My journal is now covered with stupid red squiggly line because my bloody spell check is set on American english.

Toodles Maddy.

Stuff and what not

So my first entry. Exciting stuff.
So lets see....
Well this weekend my best friend Diana came over and we went skating. It was a beautiful day. The sun wasn't out but it was warm and kinda muggy. It smelt like spring and when I walked out the door i just took a lungful of air and I knew it was gonna be a good day.
The first day of spring after such a long winter and I was so glad I could get to enjoy it.
We went down to the skatepark, with some food, and just sat and people watched for a while whilst we ate. The skaters were like freakishly good so we were a little intimidated and we didn't dare get up on the ramps. Besides we were waiting for my other friend Zheric to arrive.
After a while it got kinda boring so we decided to go and mess around on the bike path across the road from my house.
It wasn't long till Zheric turned up at my house. At the same time my 18 year old brother and a couple of his mates showed up saying they were gonna go down to the skatepark. So armed with extra friend and cool older brother I felt more confident and opted to go with them.
Unfortunately when we got back to the park there were even more people then before so we hung round the side practising our tricks.
From there on the day consisted of going back and forth from the skate park to my house.
I found out that my brothers friend James who I haven't seen since I was like 12 and had always secretly had a crush on was gonna come round to the skatepark as well. We were already there when my brother and like 5 of his friends showed up.
The look on Jame's face when he saw me was awesome! Well I have changed alot since I last saw him and I think he appreciated that.
When i saw them walking towards us (after I' just done a drop in on the now deserted ramps) I waved and was like hi guys. The first thing he said was "Woah is that your sister??".

Anyways later last night they all went out to a party in town.
Di stayed the night.
This morning we wake up to find that we didn't hear my brother come back . We go upstairs to realise he and James, who was staying the night, were infact not back at all and our wonderful plans of going skating again that day were ruined because it was raining. Joy.
Anyway after lots of frantic phone calling from my parents we learn that my brother and James and his other friend Frank have been arrested for illegal graffiti. Ooh how a love a bad boy......Oops did I say that out loud??

Haha anyway I have school again tomorrow. Joy of my life.

Well goodbye till um......I have something to write here.

Toodles
Maddy.
